A New Standard for Holiday Park Facilities: Whitby’s Washrooms Reimagined
Cr8tive Washrooms were commissioned to design and deliver a complete refurbishment of the washroom and shower facilities at Whitby Holiday Park, providing modern, durable and highly functional amenities to support the park’s large volume of seasonal visitors.
Holiday parks require washroom environments that are not only visually appealing but also robust, hygienic and easy to maintain. The objective of this project was to replace outdated facilities with a contemporary solution that would enhance the overall guest experience while ensuring longevity in a high-traffic environment.
The design:
Focused on creating clean, bright and welcoming facilities while ensuring practicality and durability for a busy holiday park setting.
A combination of warm timber-effect cubicles, contemporary sanitaryware and vibrant feature panels was introduced to create a modern yet inviting environment. The layout was carefully considered to maximise circulation space and improve user flow within the facilities.
The result is a washroom facility that feels modern, spacious and welcoming, reflecting the high standards expected by guests visiting Whitby Holiday Park.
Shower & Changing Facilities
In addition to the WC areas, the project incorporated a series of private shower cubicles, designed to offer comfort and privacy for guests staying on the park.
Each shower cubicle was constructed using commercial-grade cubicle systems, ensuring durability in a wet environment while maintaining a high-quality appearance.

Robust cubicle partitions designed for wet areas
Integrated drainage systems
Hygienic wall surfaces suitable for high-use facilities
Slip-resistant flooring for user safety
The layout allows multiple users to access the facilities simultaneously while maintaining comfortable circulation space throughout the washroom.
To ensure the facility remains durable and visually appealing for years to come, materials were carefully selected for strength, hygiene and low maintenance.
These finishes provide a robust yet contemporary washroom environment capable of withstanding heavy daily use typical of a busy holiday park.
