  • Under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, UK employers must provide a minimum number of toilets based on the number of people at work. For example, for mixed or female-only facilities, the requirement is 1 toilet for 1–5 people. Where facilities are male-only, urinals can be used to reduce the number of WCs required.
